Mad Maggie is all about getting her team into the fight quickly and causing mayhem with her tactical ability. The most attractive part about Mad Maggie is that she causes a lot of displacement and visual clutter on the opponent’s screen, which can be overwhelming, especially if the opponent isn’t used to facing her.
Strengths
- Mad Maggie’s tactical ability Riot Drill is a great tool for suppressing enemies and forcing them off common angles.
- Her ultimate ability Wrecking Ball allows her team to get into the fight quickly.
Weaknesses
- Mad Maggie’s ultimate ability Wrecking Ball is difficult to deploy due to the inconsistent trajectory.
- Her passive Warlord’s Ire only reveals opponents for a very short duration. This means if Mad Maggie is piloted by a player with inadequate gun skill, this ability will have very low value.
Skill Breakdown
Class – Assault
Mad Maggie is a member of the Assault Class. Assault Class legends can carry 20 extra ammo per stack (5 extra for Shotgun, 12 for Sniper). Assault Class Legends can also access Assault Bins. These give you ‘smart loot’ weapon attachments. This includes one guaranteed scope every time.
Passive Ability – Warlord’s Ire
For a short time, Mad Maggie reveals enemy locations when she damages them. Additionally, Mad Maggie has a faster movement speed while holding a shotgun.
Tactical Ability (Q) – Riot Drill
Mad Maggie fires a drill that attaches to an obstacle and burns enemies caught on the other side. This ability deals a total of 160 damage over its activation period and is indestructible.
Ultimate Ability (Z) – Wrecking Ball
Mad Maggie throws a ball that releases speed pads and detonates near enemy players. This ability deals 20 damage in its detonation area and can break through doors.
Tips and Tricks
Tip #1 – The Drill Defense
Mad Maggie’s tactical ability Riot Drill is a great offensive tool that can deal damage through obstacles. For this same reason, it can also be a great tool for defending yourself. If you’re low on health and an enemy is chasing you, get through a doorway or walkway and place this ability so you can get some heals off and get back into the fight.
Tip #2 – Escaping like a Wrecking Ball
Mad Maggie’s ultimate ability is a great tool for engaging but also fantastic for escaping bad situations and rotating. Any time you have to cross open areas or need to get away in a hurry, toss this ability, and your entire team gains rapid movement speed.
