Loba is commonly known as the queen of loot in Apex Legends. Her passive Eye for Quality allows her to never miss a high-quality goodie, and her ultimate Black Market Boutique allows her to grab items from a wide range. On top of this, she has some mobility with her tactical ability Burglar’s Best Friend gives her some self-sufficiency.
Strengths
- Loba’s ultimate keeps her team fully stocked on medical supplies, ammo, and allows them to upgrade attachments and EVO shields throughout a match.
- Her tactical ability Burglar’s Best Friend, is a nice mobility tool that allows her to keep up with faster teammates and even take high ground quickly.
Weaknesses
- Loba’s ultimate Black Market Boutique can be destroyed easily, meaning players piloting this legend must be careful about using this ultimate.
- Her tactical Burglar’s Best Friend isn’t an instant escape. This means if Loba ends up in a bad spot, she has to buy some time for this ability to get her out of a pinch.
Skill Breakdown
Class – Support
Loba is a member of the Support Class. This allows them to access special Support Bins, which grant healing and survival items. If you have a member of the Support Class on your team, you can craft expired banners at a replicator.
Passive Ability – Eye for Quality
Loba can see epic and legendary items through walls, allowing her to loot more efficiently and never miss high-quality equipment.
Tactical Ability (Q) – Burglar’s Best Friend
Loba equips her jump drive bracelet. After being deployed, press Fire to teleport to the current location of the bracelet. The longer this ability remains undeployed; the further Loba will teleport.
Ultimate Ability (Z) – Black Market Boutique
Loba drops a Black Market, which can be accessed by everyone, including opponents. Inside the Black Market, players can take infinite ammunition and then 2 items, including medical supplies, EVO shields, attachments, ordinances, and weapons.
Tips and Tricks
Tip #1 – Functional Jewelry
Loba’s tactical ability Burglar’s Best Friend is a great movement tool for this legend. While it can’t always be used to escape bad situations depending on the cover available, it can take vertical ground during fights. Simply look up, toss the bracelet, and wait for it to be over the high ground you’re hoping to take. Just remember it can be easily tracked, so try to land behind cover.
Tip #2 – Window Shop Often
Loba’s ultimate ability Black Market Boutique should be used on cooldown when possible, and used in safe positions. This ability is fantastic for keeping your team topped off on heals, ammo, and even upgrading their attachments, EVO shields, and helmets. When playing Loba, try to find a spot that is central to the area you’re looking to loot so all the items will be in range and find a safe spot to place this ability.
